Established in 1984, Permata Hijau Group has started with oil-palm plantations and later down streamed the operations to processing and refinery. Based in Indonesia being one of the major exporters of palm oil products, we have satisfactory knowledge of the local markets and suppliers. In addition, utilization of only high technology plants and equipments for all our existing plants as well as new projects serve us to produce high quality and cost efficient products. Our success is also attributable to economies of scale of our operations and long establishment relationships with our customers, suppliers and our people.
Now, together with the affiliated companies, we have operated several processings, refineries and kernel crushing plants in North Sumatera and Riau province. In addition, the group also owns bulk tank terminals in Dumai and Belawan port, Indonesia, to accommodate the products of the group to ensure first class logistics; hence, customers receive products on time. The group is also continually cultivating new plots of land and building new factories thereby increasing the palm oil production every year.
Through specific analysis of the strategic options, we grow specializing on the palm oil and its related products; gain advantages from economies of scale and pass them on to our customers, suppliers and our People through value-added activities. We continually seek ways to build successful businesses by investing in both our people and core competencies.
Extensive distribution network, excellent teamwork and dedication to commitment have brought us to be one of the major players in the industry in relatively short period and have been granted the best exporter award in 2002 by the President of Republic Indonesia. Moreover, our dedication to commitment has also served the company to have been awarded the "Wajib Pajak Patuh" by the-then-President of the Republic Indonesia to PT Permata Hijau Sawit and PT Nubika Jaya in the year 2003 and 2004.
